A good story about a real person, but quite frightening. It is a novel and it is not all facts but it present s an interesting portrait of a "sick mind".

This is the 2nd in the series that I have read. I started in the middle (4th) but it doesn't seem to mess up the stories. I like the way the author creates stories that take place over more than one generation and in different parts of the world. this series is definitely about a "global" family. This is the 2nd in the series that I have read. A recent comment by Lindsey Graham that "Republicans need to control who can vote or they will never regain the white House or keep the Senate" confirms what this book tells us and what many states are trying to do right now. How tragic. How horrible. what is the matter with the GOP? They need to be bending over backwards to help people use their right to vote. We need many more Stacey Abrams and others like her.A recent comment by Lindsey Graham that "Republicans need to control who can vote or they will never regain the white House or keep the Senate" confirms what this book tells us and what many states are trying to do right now. I've read other books by this author but this is the first in the 7 sisters series. Interesting in that the reader learns about the early history of Australia and race relations. I'm not sure I buy the basis that these daughters were all adopted by a wealthy man but I'll read few more and see if the author can convince me.I've read other books by this author but this is the first in the 7 sisters series. A little longer than it should have been with the astrological aspect of the story. there was a good mystery but maybe too many characters to keep track of. The author lets us learn about what makes people "tick" and what influences our behaviors. We learned not only about the main characters but also secondary ones as well.A little longer than it should have been with the astrological aspect of the story. there was a good mystery but maybe too many characters to keep track of. When I checked this out, I planned to just do some skimming because the book is a LIST. But I started reading and found it very interesting. As I continued I felt anger, shock, disgust, despair, frustration , and sadness. the damage that was inflicted on our government is appalling. this book provides the perfect answer to a statement I read in another book The Fifth Risk. "Imagine the consequences if a nation elected someone to run the government who had no idea how a government works." The government was in the hands of people who shredded important divisions that serve the people, appointed Incompetent (according to the ABA) judges to the Federal courts, destroyed our image through-out the world. Trump was assisted by other incompetent, ill-suited, unprepared, unethical and corrupt people. It was take, strong, patriotic Americans to heals the wounds that have been inflicted on this nation. When I checked this out, I planned to just do some skimming because the book is a LIST. There were some interesting things in the book, but the "name dropping" was nauseating. The real title of the book should be "The Disgusting and Nauseating Life-styles of the Rich and Famous." The authors went on and on about the dining, the clothes, the jewelry, the drinking and the homes that I had to conclude that if all these people really care about helping those who are less fortunate, they could live more modest and less indulgent lives and have more funds to help others. Maybe Harry and Meghan will have a chance if they live separately from the Royal family/ I'm not sure they can. There were some interesting things in the book, but the "name dropping" was nauseating. Excellent! It was very interesting and informative. I like how he enriches the story with personal comments. Loved how he suggested that Michelle wear a cute little hat and carry a purse when they met Queen Elizabeth 11. Michelle's response was priceless! This story builds slowly as the author introduces the reader to the main character. Once the "real action" starts, the reader will appreciate that they had met Jessie and understood where she was coming from. An emotional story by a woman who was sexually attacked and how she survived, despite the justice system, society and our attitudes. she lets you into her mind and heart and how she deals with this crime. Alot has to change but one thing that came to my mind is that boys have to be taught when they are young how to respect any woman and girls have to be taught that they are important and they have a right to their feelings. An emotional story by a woman who was sexually attacked and how she survived, despite the justice system, society and our attitudes. she lets you into her mind and heart and how she deals with this crime. I checked out this book because I had read his other one The Gatekeepers which was excellent. This one was just as informative and interesting but it leaves the reader somewhat apprehensive because one realizes that CIA Directors are human and so are the Presidents they serve. The full title should be The Spy Masters. How they affect our history--both on purpose and accidently. Maybe they should be persons with experience in intelligence and are not obligated to keep the President happy.I checked out this book because I had read his other one The Gatekeepers which was excellent. An interesting story that follows a very young boy up through adulthood and old age. The rea der learns much about the Kurdish culture and their identity. There is a small part that gets a little too graphic, but as they say "sex sells". It doesn't really add to the story. The title is very apropos to the main character. An interesting story that follows a very young boy up through adulthood and old age. From the title, I thought that the author was going to lambast us for getting into our current mess, but instead, he is explaining the thinking of Americans during this time through different writers who are trying to also explain what is happening and why. My conclusion is that there is no simple explanation why we are here and how we have become so divided. We all need to learn to respect each other--even when we disagree and not turn to hate and violence when there are other ways to work on our differences. From the title, I thought that the author was going to lambast us for getting into our current mess, but instead, he is explaining the thinking of Americans during this time through different writers who are trying to also explain what is happening…
