It is a fad diet. While recommended by my Doctor, I tried to keep an open mind but too many alarm bells were going off. Didn't feel right to me and that is ok. I think with 2 young children in my house that I need to set a good example. I will just eat healthy food, include more protein, and use portion control instead of completely eliminating perfectly good food. According to my doctor there is science behind why it works but I could not see science anywhere.
