Secrets secrets are no fun, secrets secrets hurt someone. Or in this case, get them murdered. It’s hard to talk about this book without giving anything away because everyone is hiding something. This obviously lends to the mystery and makes everyone a suspect, Agatha Christie style. Each chapter is told from a different perspective and they move back and forth in time (before and after the murder). You never hear from certain characters so they feel a little bit like unnecessary background. The chapters change in perspective which I found distracting. To switch from first person to second person (limited) perspective didn’t work for me and I don’t think it added anything. That being said, this is a fast read and the atmosphere of it was perfect. It hit all the notes I expected and the characters are hot messes, which is always fun to watch.
