Add a CommentCopied from "May I Bring a Friend": I realized that, if I go through the Caldecott Award Winners, I will find the myriad of books I read in my elementary school years - whether they were assigned, or reading circles, or just books that I checked out from the library. It doesn't matter - I can remember the cover and I have rediscovered so many books - and so many that I didn't know were even around when my mother was an elementary school student! What a great surprise! This has been fantastic, and a great trip down memory lane.
