story moves very quickly, but is a lot of fun - hoping there is a second volume to flesh out some of the back story and lore of the world.

The illustrations being done by a host of artists is what really makes it worth picking up this book!

The three main characters are great, yet what I love best about this graphic novel for all ages is that each of the chapters is illustrated by a different artist. It keeps the story fresh and exciting.

Neither of these princesses is typical, one is a strong fighter, and the other a lover of books, and they are the best of friends. Their adventure is drawn by multiple artists. Two of the artists use a very appropriate style for a fairytale based world. The others vary greatly in their approach. Fortunately, although the aesthetic pleasure changes, the enjoyment from the written story remains constant. They and the spirit dog, Yonder, are sure to face even better adventures in volume two.
