What would happen if something caused a rift between some of Marvel's greatest heroes? Read this before you see the movie (or after, if you've already seen it).

Great Book! Not very long, but it accuratley depicts a raging war with Captain America and Iron Man

The action was terrific and I enjoyed seeing so many prominent characters in one novel. However, the story moves really quickly and lacks some of the depth and conversation you would expect to see before characters like Captain America and Iron Man duke it out. I'd read it because it's fun and will be translated to the big screen in 2016.

Well done artwork and thought provoking storyline.

A very engaging and exciting read. The Marvel Universe splits in half in it's greatest existential crisis yet!

Soon to be a film in 2016 as well!

I liked the storyline, but in order to really enjoy this story, you have to read other books. Also I didn't like cap quitting at the end. I was rooting for him winning, then he just quit.

I liked the story line, and I think they go into deeper depth on other issues, but I was a little underawed by this Marvel "event." Also, I wished there were more one on one battles. Also, I didn't like Captain America just giving up at the end. It was so uncharacteristic, and it felt weird. By the end, I was on Captain America's side, then he quit. >:(

Premise was good, the execution...debatable.

Hmmm, this one is basically like an appendix to the grander storytelling of "Civil War", filling in some gaps of what happened during and after. The multiple switches between writers and artists doesn't help, either. For completists, mainly.

I know that this Marvel "event" didn't receive a lot of love when it came out, but diving into it for the first time just recently I found myself enjoying it a lot, even though it came out not-so-long-ago it still had kind of a throw back feel to before the time when most comic book heroes had to become snarky, quippy and/or meta. Now I'm legitimately looking forward to seeing how Marvel Studios reframes the conflict in Captain America: Civil War...it'll be a long wait until 2016 to find out! (Oh yeah, I thought the art was spot on; consistent, clear, colourful).

What if you had superpowers (or the ability to make really cool gadgets) and the government told you that you were only allowed to use these things if were trained and registered (and possibly controlled) by them, would you submit? or would you oppose a law you saw as unfair, discriminatory and possibly dangerous? That is the question put before these Superheros.
