I loved this book so much, it was amazingly emotional.

I think I went into this book with too high expectations . I also thought that it was going to be a very touching contemporary YA novel. I was wrong in so many ways. First off, it was a middle grade novel, which I have nothing against; it's just not what I thought it was. Also I never really got into the story. It was very fast, but I didn't like how I never really clicked with any of the characters, especially the main one. It was a sad book, but I couldn't bring myself to cry because I never fell in love with the characters. I would say that it is worth reading, but it isn't my favorite.

Awesome book. I loved it. It was so sad and touching. I love how Jo Knowles really showed how Fern felt throughout the book. It's a must-read!

Very heartfelt. You can really connect with the characters and feel the weight of losing a family member. However, half of the book is quite depressing and for me it seemed a little overdone but the effect it had on me was amazing.

Page turner. I couldn't put the book down. It is that good!

I cried a lot reading it. Make sure you have tissues close by.
