Great read! I really enjoyed the structure of reading about so many people who were successful in so many different aspects. It has something for everyone, even though some of the interviews didn't grab my complete attention they still had an excellent message behind them. Might have to buy this one sometime.

What does it take to become a successful race car driver? How does one develop into a star major league ballplayer, a crossword puzzle creator or a best-selling author? In their new book “The Art of Doing,” Camille Sweeney and Josh Gosfield compile months of research and over 100 hours of conversations with "super-achievers." They explain that, despite having jobs with nothing in common, these super-achievers share ten qualities: dedication, intelligence in persistence, knowledge of their community, willingness to listen, strength in story-telling, desire to test theory, control of emotions, patience and an understanding of the need to evolve. Perhaps most importantly, super-achievers know that happiness and success coexist.

Obviously, the authors enjoyed conducting their research; every bubbly chapter contains a short bio followed by sound advice and trivia about the interviewee and his/her industry. The book has a light but informational tone and represents quirky, interesting industries. A perfect read for those days when you wonder what it would be like to have a different career.
