Saw the band at this year's Boston Calling and they were good enough to make me check out this album, which is really very enjoyable. They remind me of Jellyfish - fun, trippy, alternative rock.
Tame Impala takes its druggy experimentalism to new heights on its newest album. This album is slower and has fewer hooks than "Innerspeaker", but it's still fascinating to listen to. Even the more self-indulgent songs have enough quirky pleasures to keep you interested.
