I grew up with the 33 LP album thirty-something years ago and absolutely loved it. I just had to revisit this old haunt and never knew there was a book and a video that were made to accompany it; which wasn't too far off from how I had envisioned the story songs in my head. Hi I'm a Baby; and Lady's First; I have recited time and time again to all my younger family and friends to this day remembering every word. A Must for this and future generations; its a treasure missing from society's and family's moral fabric today. Bravo to Marlo Thomas! Bravo! Bravo!!

catchy songs and funny reparte bits, lots of gender themes but very cis perspective only. i'm sure it was progressive when it first came out and is still a worthwhile listen today, i particularly liked "It's Alright To Cry" and wish it was a longer song. One last personal opinion, Ladies First is kind of morbid... not really the type of humor i want my little ones adopting.

Great music and messages. Timeless. Shared this with my kids in the car and they loved it.

I had this record (yes, in vinyl) when I was a child and I still love it. It ranks right up there with the Muppet Show as a children's production that successfully gets kids thinking about what it means to be a good person in a genuinely entertaining way.

Topics range from bullying, to gender equity, to empathy with your parents. I still hear Carol Channing's voice in my head when I see someone doing housework all alone and she *still* makes me want to help out.

They don't make albums like this anymore, and that's too bad!
