You gotta be in the mood for a jazz-driven French musical full of color, light on plot, heavy on dance and brimming with sentimentality. I smiled my way through ... my husband gave up after 30 minutes.

According to some magazines, this French musical from 1967, influenced La la land Oscar nominated movie, favourite to win in many categories for 2017.

Light and fun to watch.

This was a fun old movie - a little silly but I enjoyed seeing the fashions and the singing in french. A very simple non-plot - just and excuse to sing and dance. It reminded me of Cather Deneuve in Umbrellas of Cherborg. Not for everyone but some will love it.
