The Dem's latest star reflects on DC politics with wit and humor, resurrecting the vision of our forefathers from the ashes of Washington's latest folly.
Excellent book! Barack Obama has an excellent point of view and incredible ideas. His point of view is one worth listening to or reading. The audiobook is read by Barack.
I listened to the audio-book/CD format of this book included in "The Essential Barack Obama" two book set (also including "Dreams From My Father") both read by the author.
In "Audacity of Hope" the reader is given a thorough overview of Obama's political and policy views on a wide array of issues and national concerns. Not only does Obama give his views but he offers possible solutions . In the process, one is given an insightful look at how his mind works on these things and what, as well as why, certain issues are important to him.
Recommended.
The greatest president in my lifetime.
I read this before the first election. He tries really hard to make himself out to be a centrist.
This is a great book if you enjoy learning about politics and history. Barack is a very gifted writer and his passion and education clearly show throughout the book. This is less a biography of him, and more a stance on his passionate views on the future of this nation. The biggest takeaway from this book for me was just how well-balanced he was as a senator and eventually President.
This is one of my favorite presidents so I had to read this and its really good he goes into what he knows and believes. Barack Obama is a logical man.
Only an idiot can say they didn't read a word from the book yet they hate it
A very good read. I enjoyed this book I would recommend this book for all to read.
